The room was super clean and quiet. I slept so well! i especially appreciated the complimentary amenities. breakfast offered a great selection, and the restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced! I felt totally relaxed and ready for anything.

the breakfast was acceptable this year (i usually prefer it more).
Room 771 was assigned to me and it was unfortunately insufferably loud. A mechanical noise persisted all day and night. this noise frequently interrupted sleep, quite annoying. the hotel should address this issue promptly.

the christmas festive tea at the restaurant was one of the best afternoon teas i have ever had. the service was great, with a children's tea also available. the selection of sandwiches, scones, and pastries was really good. the hotel is in beautiful countryside (i enjoyed a walk around the grounds).
